Privacy & your data
CBB (Colavo Beauty Bootcamp) and Colavo, Inc. run a free Youth Seminar and a paid Pro Masterclass in New York. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, the single purpose of each item, and your rights — including extra protections for under-18s under the New York Child Data Protection Act.
What we collect & why
We never use a field for a purpose beyond what was shown when it was collected.
Minors' privacy (under 18)
- Under 13 are not admitted to data collection.
- The RSVP itself only covers attendance and an optional guardian opt-in for CBB/Colavo to use on-event photos/video on their own channels.
- Any ambassador / creator or sponsor use is a separate, optional opt-in offered after the event (with guardian consent), never bundled into the seat RSVP — off by default and revocable.
- Every optional consent is separate, plainly labeled, defaults to NO, and can be refused with no penalty to participation.
- Guardian consent is completed by the guardian on a separate verified link — not by the student.
- You can give, refuse, or revoke any optional consent at any time, and request deletion. We honor deletion within 14 days and do not retaliate for exercising these rights.
- We do NOT sell minors' personal data. Sponsor sharing happens only with separate, specific consent and a signed data agreement that discloses the data concerns minors.
- A minor's likeness is used in advertising only with written guardian consent, scoped to specific channels, duration, and territory, and revocable.
Your rights
To access, correct, revoke a consent, or request deletion, use the link in your confirmation email (the “Manage my registration” page) or email us. We respond within 14 days.
Retention & deletion
We keep registration and consent records for event operations and audit. Consent records are versioned and immutable — a revocation is recorded, not erased. Personal data is deleted on request within 14 days.
Questions or requests

This is an interim good-faith notice and may be updated as we finalize our practices with counsel.
